Compliance
Scottish Government is committed to making its websites accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018
This accessibility statement applies to the the Scottish agriculture greenhouse gas emissions and nitrogen use: 2022-23 webpages.
Compliance status
We believe that this website is partially compliant with the regulations. This is based on a non-expert assessment using WCAG 2.1 success criteria and techniques.
Potentially non-accessible and non-compliant content
The content listed below is compliant with the regulations, and yet may not be fully accessible:
- The charts may be difficult to explore in detail using the keyboard, screen readers and other assistive tools.
The interactive charts on this website are produced by third-party software libraries ‘Plotly’ and ‘Highcharts’. Interactivity of the charts fails WCAG 2.1 success criteria. However, the option to download the data displayed in the chart in csv or xlsx format is available. Body text of the report aims to ensure that the reader can access or interpret the main points of the charts. As such, we believe that fixing accessibility issues would be a disproportionate burden within the meaning of the accessibility regulations. We are investigating ways in which this content can be made accessible in a proportionate way.
- Some of the text is complex.
