These statistics report on children in families that have both low income and cannot afford three or more out of a list of 22 basic necessities. The latest release can be found here:

The data is from the Scottish Household Survey.
Low income means an equivalised net household income below 70% of the Scottish median.
The following breakdowns are provided:
- Council areas
- Health boards
- Number of adults in household
- Number of children in household
- Disability status (whether any of the adults living in household is disabled)
- Work status (whether any of up to two adults in household is in employment - we have no information on the employment status of any additional adult in household)
- Tenure
- 3-Fold urban/rural class
- SIMD quintile
